Dr. Erica Loeffler graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine with a doctor of veterinary medicine in 2016, after living in St. Kitts, West Indies for 2 & 1/2 years. She completed her clinical year at Michigan State University. She also has a bachelor's degree in zoology from MSU. During her time at MSU, she was a member of the Spartan Marching Band color guard. After graduation, she started with the Veterinary United practice group. She transferred to Thomson Animal Clinic in April 2020. Her professional interests include fear-free practices, behavior medicine, dermatology, opthalmology, exotic animal medicine, and client education. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, stand up paddleboarding, attending concerts and musical theatre, cheering on Spartan Football- GO GREEN!, reading, dog training, and spending time with her husband and animals. Dogs-Coffee, Indie, Hamilton, Cats-Harry & Neville, and bearded dragon-Bonnie. She is happy to a part of the Thomson Animal Clinic Family and looks forward to getting to know the clients and patients.
